Back in 2022, Chrissy Teigen jokingly hit back at people who felt she’d been pregnant for too long.
For context, Chrissy and her husband, John Legend, share four kids: Luna, Miles, Esti, and Wren.
Luna was born in April 2016, and Miles was born two years later, in May 2018.
In 2020, Chrissy and John sadly suffered a pregnancy loss at 20 weeks.
Three years later, the pair welcomed two more kids: a little girl named Esti, who was born in January 2023, and Wren, who was welcomed via surrogate around five months later.
In December 2022, just a month before Chrissy welcomed her third child, she poked fun at the people who thought she’d been pregnant for too long.
"'Omg I feel like she’s been pregnant foreverrrrrr' how do you think I feel thank u," she jokingly captioned a photo on Instagram.
Fast-forward to today, and Chrissy is once again hitting back at critics.
This week, John shared a sweet carousel of photos to his Instagram page in honor of Luna’s 8th birthday. “Luna made us parents 8 years ago today and she’s truly the best daughter we could ask for. We love you to the moon and back, my brilliant girl!” he wrote in the caption.
According to E! News, one social media user took to the comments to accuse Chrissy and John of “always trying to stay relevant by talking and keep on having kids.”
Hitting back, Chrissy sarcastically replied, “Yes very bored and need attention...and there is no other way in the world to get it than having kids.”
