Posh & Becks reality show when??

When the Beckham docuseries premiered on Netflix in October, nobody was expecting it to be quite so entertaining.

The four-part series chronicles British soccer legend David Beckham’s rise to fame from his working class roots, and all of the trials and tribulations that came with it.

Naturally, David’s wife of more than 20 years, Victoria Beckham, also features heavily in the show, and fans were left delighted by this rare insight into their relationship.

While David and Victoria are no strangers to showing off their picture-perfect romance on social media, Beckham treated us all to much more candid moments — one of which ended up going hugely viral.

You see, despite the fact that Victoria’s Spice Girls alter ego is literally “Posh Spice,” in the viral scene the star is adamant that her upbringing was just as humble as her husband’s.

Speaking to the camera for the documentary, she says of her family: “We’re very working class,” only for David’s head to pop out from behind a door as he sternly interrupts: “Be honest!”

“Uh, I am being honest,” Victoria replies, with David repeatedly urging her to tell the truth. He then asks: “What car did your dad drive you to school in?”

As Victoria dances around the question, insisting that it’s “not a simple answer,” David refuses to back down and tells her to answer the question.

Finally, Victoria relents and admits: “OK, in the ‘80s my dad had a Rolls-Royce,” at this point David seems satisfied and says “Thank you” before backing out of the room and closing the door.

Suffice to say, viewers found the entire thing hysterical, and David even referenced it when he went for a fancy New Year’s lunch with the in-laws last month.

Poking fun at Victoria, he captioned a photo from the meal: “Just a nice casual New Year’s Eve lunch at The Ritz ❤️ @victoriabeckham Very working class 😂 My mother & father in law left in there Roll’s 🤎”

Victoria ignored the dig at the time, simply commenting on the post: “Special NY Eve I love you xxxxxxx,” but both she and David have leaned into their viral moment for an iconic new Uber Eats advert that recreates the scene.

In the clip, which was posted to Victoria’s Instagram page on Tuesday, Victoria is wearing a T-Shirt that reads: “My dad had a Rolls-Royce,” and the pair make a series of hilarious gaffes while teasing their upcoming Super Bowl commercial with Jennifer Aniston.

Speaking to the camera, Victoria says: “David and I are going to be in a little commercial,” only for David to once again appear from behind a wall and interrupt: “Be honest!” Without missing a beat, she says: “I am!”

Victoria eventually tells viewers: “OK, it’s a big commercial.” David then says: “Tell them what it’s during.” After a few moments of faux bickering, the two agree that it is during “the big baseball game” called the “Hockey Bowl.”

“Oh, and tell them about Jessica Aniston,” David tells Victoria, who promptly says to the camera: “Jessica Aniston is going to be in it, too.” From out of shot, David then shouts: “We love Jessica!”

Victoria even remained committed to the bit in her Instagram caption, where she wrote: “Before I forget… @DavidBeckham and I filmed a little something for the Hockey Bowl. We can’t wait for you to see it!! Oh, and Jessica Aniston is going to be in it too!! Kisses xx” however, she did correctly tag Jennifer.

The whole thing has left fans impressed with the couple’s sense of humor, and many commented on Victoria’s post to heap praise on the way that she and David have taken the viral moment in their stride.

At this point, it’s worth remembering that Victoria’s post is just a teaser for the Beckhams’ actual commercial, which will air with Jennifer — we mean Jessica — Aniston during the Super Bowl on Feb. 11.
