Chrissy Teigen Opened Up About Her Kids’ Eating Habits And Revealed Her 5-Year-Old Son Has “Never” Had A Vegetable, Years After Creating A Whole Restaurant-Style Menu For Her Picky Daughter

Chrissy admitted that 5-year-old Miles was “so upset” when he “accidentally” ate a broccoli floret in a fried rice dish one time.

It’s no secret that getting kids to eat their veggies can be a pretty tough task — even when you’re a certified foodie like Chrissy Teigen.

Back in 2018, Chrissy — who shares four young kids with her husband, John Legend — revealed that she’d resorted to creating a whole restaurant-style menu in order to help encourage her then-2-year-old daughter, Luna, to eat.

“I made a restaurant for my 2 and a half year old,” Chrissy tweeted at the time, alongside a video of her showcasing the detailed menu she’d put together for Luna.

The menu was even complete with images of the different food options and prices, with Chrissy tweeting that she felt Luna would be more inclined to eat if she paid with “fake money.”

But fast-forward to today, and it looks as if Chrissy is dealing with another picky eater: her son Miles.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, Chrissy was asked about her kids’ eating habits — and she kept things incredibly candid.

Interestingly, Chrissy revealed that Luna, now 7, has massively improved with her eating. “Luna is the best eater; Luna is amazing,” she shared, adding that the little girl has no problem eating “salads” and “vegetables.”

But on the other hand, Chrissy admitted that Miles, who is 5, has “still never had a vegetable.”

Chrissy went on to share, “He accidentally ate a broccoli floret in a fried rice and was so upset about it,” prompting lots of laughter from the audience.

Meanwhile, celebrity chef David Chang — who was a guest on the show alongside Chrissy — shared that his two young sons “don’t like vegetables either.” Host Jimmy then wound up revealing that his 9-year-old daughter is also a super-picky eater, noting that he found a little comfort knowing that Chrissy and David were in the same boat as him.
