Charlie Puth Told The Story Of How He Lost His Virginity To A Fan When He Was 21 After She Asked Him To Sign Her Chest At One Of His Gigs

“This girl came up to me and was like, ‘Can you sign my chest?’ I was like, ‘I feel like a rock star.’”

Although he’s a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and record producer, Charlie Puth has more recently attracted a ton of attention over his “horny” TikTok videos.

The artist, who is 30, often posts short clips to his page showcasing his music production and songwriting process.

But his videos stray far from the innocent acoustic covers he posted on his YouTube channel a decade ago when he rose to fame and tend to involve several NSFW jokes and shirtless “thirst traps.”

And this has become a pretty big talking point on the internet, with fans often taking to the comments to chime in on how “horny” Charlie is.

Well, the singer has now given everyone a whole different level of insight into his sex life in an interview with Bustle this week, beginning with a candid recollection of the first time he had sex.

As the interviewer noted, Charlie was 21 when he lost his virginity to a fan at one of his small gigs in Boston.

“This girl came up to me and was like, ‘Can you sign my chest?’” the artist revealed. “I was like, I feel like a rock star.”

But Charlie admitted that while the girl was “lovely,” he sometimes wishes that the entire thing had been “more memorable,” as he didn’t end up seeing her again.

“I never saw her again,” he said. “She was lovely, but it makes me sad sometimes because I wish the older version of me was like, hey, you might want to just make this like a little more memorable.”

Pulling the curtain back entirely, Charlie went on to divulge that the first song he ever masturbated to was a popular Maroon 5 hit before revealing that he actually told Adam Levine all about it, too.

“The first song I ever jerked off to was fucking ‘This Love’ by Maroon 5,” he said. “Now I’m good friends with Adam Levine. [I told him] and he was like, ‘That’s really weird.’”

And Charlie went on to discuss his thoughts on the correlation between music and sex because of the way that the human body responds to bass hertz. “This is a really weird sentence, but if you took the instrumental-only of my music, I want people to almost get turned on by the frequency,” he said.

If you didn’t know, the artist has a rare ability called absolute pitch (more commonly known as perfect pitch), which means he’s able to identify any musical note instantly — from the sound of his car turning on to a random dog barking.

But as a result of his immense musical gift, Charlie revealed that he actually can’t listen to songs while having sex, as he just overanalyzes whatever is playing.

“I will analyze the music playing in the background and I'll start to see the music notes in my head and I will not be able to get hard,” he said.

Aside from all the sex-related talk, however, Charlie’s TikTok attracted attention earlier this year after he found himself embroiled in a bit of drama with music producer Benny Blanco.

Benny spent months publicly jabbing at Charlie in his own TikTok videos, calling him a “piece of shit” and mocking him for the behind-the-scenes content of his creative production.

“Shut up, Charlie,” Benny wrote in response to Charlie’s video of him on the phone with someone demanding that he release his song “Light Switch.” “You didn't just make this song. You probably made this song 2 months ago and trying to squeeze every promo you can out of it. Fucking loser.”

But many believed that the feud was fake given that Charlie and Benny had previously worked together and shared a public friendship. The two even appeared as amicable as ever as they joked around together in one of YouTuber David Dobrik’s old vlogs in 2019.

However, when asked about the contention in January, Charlie seemed as lost as everyone else, explaining that he thought the two were friends.

“I know just as much as you do,” he said on the Karson & Kennedy Talk With Famous People podcast. “I was gonna ask if you knew anything else. I thought we were friends. ... I still think it’s for fun, but what the hell do I know?”

“I’m so in my head, I’m on another planet,” he went on. “I don’t even remember what I had for lunch yesterday if there’s not a song or a beat attached to it. My answer is I think we were friends. I think everything’s OK?”

And things took another turn when fellow singer Billie Eilish jumped into the drama herself to defend Charlie.

Replying to one of Benny’s videos that called Charlie a loser for sitting in his room “all day” and making TikToks, Billie said: “What do you do all day, Benny? The same thing. Literally, the same thing.” Charlie commented in response, “Thank you.”
