Wannabe Instagram Models Are Tagging Their Pictures As Video Games To Get More Views

Today in "reasons why we should probably get rid of hashtags":

#Blackops is a very popular tag on Instagram, with nearly 500,000 associated photos. So is #bo2 (Black Ops 2), with more than 300,000; #cod (Call of Duty) with more than a million; and, of course, #minecraft, with more than 2 million.

Well, it seems some enterprising aspiring Instagram models have figured out that tagging their pictures under these extraordinarily popular categories is a sure-fire way to attract to the attention of the internet and rack up those always-coveted "Likes". Sigh.
