Flappy Bird creator and erstwhile Vietnamese celebrity Dong Nguyen, a day after telling CNBC that he would be rereleasing his hit in August, announced via Twitter today that he would be making a new game first:
I am making a new game. So people can forget about Flappy Bird for a while.
The tweet included an image that looks similar in visual quality and color palette to Flappy Bird; it's unclear whether it is an image of the new game.
