I was so frustrated being a girl from Los Angeles who loves football, and we didn’t have any teams. And then I moved away to New York, and then we got two teams. And it’s nice to meet you, my name is Drew.’”

"He was not the quarterback for the LA Rams," Drew then revealed. "He's a musician that thought he was being cute."

And the final straw came when the mystery man coined the unusual pet name for Drew, with the star joking: “I was like, 'I hate you. You pithy, deceiving, playful — you've made me feel stupid. I don't know who you are. I feel so dumb. Why did we have to get off on this foot? I hate you!'"

Drew confided in her guests Austin Butler and Callum Turner as she discussed her fears, and Elvis star Austin was quick to volunteer to rescue her if she got “weird vibes” from the guy.

Starting the conversation, Drew said: “Funny enough, I have my first date in a long time…” and Callum and Austin interjected to share their excitement.

“I dread these things,” Drew said in response. “Because they’re awkward!”

But Austin disagreed, telling Drew: “I like the dinner, then you know if it doesn’t work. You get to actually talk, you’re going to have a great time. I’ve got a good feeling.”

Drew remained unconvinced, asking: “What if you get weird vibes right out of the gate though? Then what?”

Drew could not hide her appreciation for this gesture, exclaiming: “Really?!” to which Austin nonchalantly reassured her that it would not be a big deal for him.

“I’m not kidding, I get very nervous,” Drew then explained. “I’ve not met this person before, he’s a complete stranger.”

At this point, Callum and Austin were visibly confused, asking whether she’d been set up by a friend for a blind date. Drew then sheepishly admitted: “If meeting on a dating app is a blind date…”

“I’m excited for you!” Callum said as the two men continued to try and hype Drew up, with Austin adding: “I can’t wait to get updates.”

And Austin’s sweet gesture has caused a stir with viewers, with many commenting on the clip to swoon over the way that he calmly reassured the host.

“This is actually so sweet. But also I hope he doesn’t have to rescue her,” one person commented. Another wrote: “I just swooned!! And it’s not me being picked up. Oh my lord.”
