A Florida man got super busted after he allegedly killed five alligators for a Super Bowl feast.
Richard Nixie, 30, was arrested on Sunday and charged with taking and possession of alligators without a proper tag, according to the Volusia County Department of Corrections.
Nixie is accused of capturing five small alligators and cutting off their tails, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reported.
Nixie admitted he had done so for a gator tail dinner to celebrate the Super Bowl, according to the newspaper. All the alligators were less than five feet long.
Nixie had been previously arrested for pot possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, records show.
