Scott Walker's campaign released an ad called "Truthful" this morning, attacking Milwaukee mayor Tom Barrett for crimes in Milwaukee being misreported.
In the same vein, Barrett's campaign is running a television ad calling Walker a liar. "Do you believe Scott Walker?" it begins.
The candidates' final debate is this evening in Madison, and there are only a few days left before the June 5 recall election. Campaign ads on both sides have been largely negative of late, as Barrett scrambles to close his gap in the polls and Walker attempts to deliver a death blow.
