Germany is crazy for David Hasselhoff. Perfectly understandable when you consider that in 1989 he almost single-handedly caused the fall of the Berlin Wall. (Okay, not really, but a song of his was really popular in East Germany at the time and he did perform there on New Year's Eve in 1989 as the Wall was being torn down.)
Sunday is the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. So let's look at which cities in Germany love The Hoff the most.
In cooperation with Spotify, BuzzFeed Germany analyzed the plays of all of Hasselhoff's songs since Nov. 9, 2013. Herewith the ultimate ranking of the 25 German cities that love Hasselhoff the most.
