A 13-Year-Old Boy Led Michigan Police On A High-Speed Car Chase And It Was Caught On Video

"It's a little kid," one of the officer's is heard saying in the dash cam video.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested Saturday after leading police officers in a car chase with his 8-year-old sister in the vehicle.

Police officers received an alert about a black Nissan Altima driving erratically Saturday, according to the Detroit Free Press. A sheriff's deputy later spotted the car stopped at a red light in Clinton Township, Michigan.

The deputy put on the lights and the kid initially pulled over, but he then sped away as the sheriff's deputy approached the vehicle.

The 13-year-old boy weaved through traffic, spinning off the road and crossing a grassy median on to the opposite side of the parkway.

As officers approached, the boy and his younger sister can be seen on the video running from the car. The officer tells the dispatcher, "It's a little kid."

The teen was taken into custody and the 8-year-old girl was turned over to her mother, according to the Detroit Free Press.
