The 8 month old gunshot victim from the 2700 Blk. of N. Early has died.
An 8-month-old boy died Monday morning after being shot around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night in Kansas City, Kansas, police confirmed to BuzzFeed News.
The boy was struck during a drive-by shooting. The boy's mother also suffered minor injuries, which did not require medical treatment.
The incident has been categorized as a homicide.
A Kansas City police said they are still looking for the shooter and are requesting the public to come forward with any additional information.
