The dress has been available for purchase since August. It typically costs $2,095, but was on sale for $628 — a 70% discount!

But by the end of President Obama's 58-minute speech, the dress was sold out online, a PR representative for Narcisco Rodriguez told BuzzFeed News.

Narciso Rodriguez's public relations spokesperson could not confirm to BuzzFeed News how many dresses were sold Tuesday night because the transactions went through third-party retailers, including Neiman-Marcus.

The dress is a part of the Cuban-American designer's fall 2015 collection. It's the second Narciso Rodriguez dress that Michelle Obama has worn to the State of the Union address.

She previously wore a dress by the designer to the 2009 State of the Union.
