This Painting Of Vladimir Putin And Dmitry Medvedev In Lingerie Was Confiscated By Russian Police

Too sensual for public consumption.

Four paintings were reportedly seized from the Muzei Vlasti gallery in St. Petersburg on Monday — Konstantin Altunin's "Travesty" (the lingerie scene above), a portrait of Russia's Orthodox church leader covered in tattoos, and two depictions of politicians who supported the controversial "gay propaganda" law posing with "gay propaganda."

Gallery owner Alexander Donskoy said he was not told which law or laws the paintings violated.

"This is an [illegal] seizure," he told Reuters. "We have been given no formal documents banning us from operating and no receipt confirming our petty cash was seized."
