Joe Lhota's Campaign Committee Address Based In Connecticut, Not In New York City

All roads to the Republican candidate for mayor of New York City lead back to Connecticut. Update: A Lhota spokeswoman says "it was incorporated in New York, but the treasurer's home address is in CT."

Republican New York City mayoral candidate Joe Lhota's campaign committee is based out of a Connecticut address, an odd thing for the former MTA chief who runs ads touting his New York roots.

A search of Lhota's contributors found the home belonged to a "Vincent La Padula," Lhota's former chief of staff.

According to the same New York City Board of Elections website, Bill de Blasio's campaign committee is based in Brooklyn.
