Huckabee On His Facebook Chat With Trolls: "Some Of The Questions Were Very Bizarre"

"One guy asked me something about, what did I think of bears, and I thought, 'really, that's a serious question?' So I had a little fun with that."

Republican presidential candidate and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee hosted a Facebook chat last week:

Huckabee told News Talk 106.3 KRZK last week it was "really was me" answering questions and that he had "some fun with it." Huckabee said he thought "some of the questions were very bizarre."

"It really was me, in fact, I was having some fun with it. It's interesting that one of the blogs took some of the questions and answers, and I did that and answered some questions very seriously and some of the questions were very bizarre and I answered with a sense of humor in a way that I'm probably the only one who would have done it that way.

Huckabee said one guy asked him "what is the meaning of life." He said he responded by telling him "'ya know, you need help. You really need help. See a doctor, seriously. Go see a doctor, you need help.' Huckabee noted "it was fun."

"So I would just scroll though and if one caught my fancy I would try to answer it," Huckabee said. "One guy asked me something about, what did I think of bears, and I thought, 'really, that's a serious question?' So I had a little fun with that."

"I had fun doing it. Social media is important."

Huckabee said he thought "social media is one the great equalizers in America," noting that everyone has a voice but that he dislikes anonymous people on the Internet using it to spew vitriol.
