Michael Todd, bassist for Coheed and Cambria, was arrested after stealing six bottles of Oxycontin from a Massachusetts Walgreens and claiming he was armed with a bomb and would detonate himself if the clerks tried to stop him. Needless to say, the band has replaced him for the rest of their tour.
UPDATED: Founder Of TOMS Shoes Accidentally Headlines An Event For An Organization That Condemns Homosexuality
Blake Mycoskie is the founder of TOMS shoes which are mostly worn by youthful social groups that tend to trend liberal. Well apparently in complete opposition with the majority of his clientele he headlined an event for Focus On The Family, the evangelical Christian, right wing non-profit that condemns homosexuality and abortion. UPDATE: A rare happy ending to all of this: Blake has released a sincere apology explaining he makes so many appearances that he doesn't fully background check every organization he visits. He fully supports gay rights. This also makes me happy because I knew we couldn't hate that face!
25 People Risking Their Lives High Above NYC
Although I'd like to believe I am relatively courageous, my suburban-bred bravery falls far short of these daredevils. I'm glad blogging doesn't require me to hang out on construction beams up in the clouds, even though that would be fairly badass.

Jay Leno Gets Stunned Silence From Casey Anthony Joke Then Awkwardly Tells The Joke Again
Jay Leno's attempt to relate the Obama administration with the jury from Casey Anthony's trial is both confusing and unfunny (just like most of Leno's career!) and therefore nobody in the audience laughs. Then Jay does something hilarious for the first time in his life. Starts around 1:20

69 Passionate Sax Faces
Everyone knows 2011 is the Summer of the Sax with both Lady GaGa and Katy Perry featuring the instrument in their respective song of the summer contenders as well as the very unfortunate passing of Clarence Clemons happening only a mere few weeks ago. To help the Summer of the Sax along I compiled a list of sax faces simply because that sounds and looks a lot like something else. Tax faces! Not tax faces...those aren't saxxy enough. Ok I'll stop.
The Similarities Between Arrested Development And 30 Rock
These are pretty standard similarities that can be found in just about every successful comedy on television but since I'm a super-fan of both this seemed worth sharing.
