PETA does it again! They created a commercial, "Veggie Love" and tried to buy time for it on NBC's Superbowl Broadcast. But the spot was rejected because, "depicts a level of sexuality exceeding our standards! according to an NBC spokesperson.

A car, travelling at a high speed smashed into a guard railed and careened into a church roof in Saxony, German. A special vehicle had to be called to rescue the man, who had serious injuries.

Monster Truck Accident Kills Promoter Who Spoke of Event Safety
The day before he was hit by a monster truck at a Madison, WI event, promoter George Eisenhart Jr. discussed that no one had in 16 years at a Monster National Show. Eisenhart 41, died from his injuries. Unlike an Oregon Monster Jam show that killed a young child on Jan. 16. The Madison event was stopped, and the audience was told to go home.

Nigerian Police Arrest Goat for Car Theft!
A goat is being held on suspicion of auto robbery in Kwara State, Nigeria. A vigilante group turned the goat in and said it was a car thief who had used witchcraft to change shape. A police spokesman said the goat "armed robbery suspect" will not be left off the hook until investigations into the case are concluded. The image shown is the suspect!

Weatherproof wanted to purchase a 3 second spot during NBC's Telecast of The Superbowl, but the fourth-place network turned down the 60 year old company. This spot is only 5 seconds, but you get the idea. On another note, Miller Brewery is buying 1 second spots during the Super Bowl on Local NBC stations.

Media Frustrations Towards Obama Admin. Being Aired Publicly!
The media is airing its frustrations of new policies set forth by the Obama administration. Politico is reporting: "A growing media frustration with Barack Obama’s team spilled into the open at Thursday’s briefing, with reporters accusing the White House of stifling access to his oath re-do and giving Obama’s first interview as president to a multi-million dollar inauguration sponsor." It got to the point that AP wouldn't distribute pictures of Obama's 2nd swearing in ceremony. You don't want to piss off the White House press corps!
