Mark McGwire Snubbed Entry Into Baseball Hall of Fame...AGAIN!

Former baseball star Mark McGwire was denied entry into Baseball's Hall of Fame for the second year in a row receiving less votes than last year. The main reason for the lack of support appears to be McGwire not testifying to a Congressional committee during a steroid investigation. McGwire admits to using steroids prior to the MLB banning the substance. The lack of support does not sit well for Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens, once-labeled future Hall of Famers, but also linked to steroid use

New York Mets Patch Controversy!

A controversy is brewing over the New Yorks Met uniform patch. Some are calling it a "pizza" patch because it's design is similar to Domino's. But the patch being used to commemorate the inaugural season for the Mets at their new Citi Park Stadium is being criticized by fans and players alike. Didn't the Mets marketing department realize the lack of any reference to the Mets, the year, and the stadium makes the logo less collectible in the future?

TV Guide Boots MTV, QVC, DIY Channel Listings!

Citing a lack of space available in the print edition of TV Guide- the weekly publication has stopped listing a number of channels including MTV, Planet Green, DIY, QVC and others. It seems that the page grid only can reference 70 channels. I wonder if these channels were advertisers, if the outcome would be the same.

A black model called Jesus who wears a loincloth and a crown of thorn is stirring up controversy in Sacha Baron's Cohen's upcoming Bruno Movie: "Delicious Journeys Through America For The Purpose Of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable In The Presence Of A Gay Foreigner In A Mesh T-Shirt." Test audiences in the US are not seeing any humor in the character. But rest easy, if Black Jesus isn't in the films final cut- it surely will be on the DVD release.
