For two long minutes, the staff running the sling shot ride at this amusement park in Orlando, Florida tell the seated rider that something is wrong with the safety harness. Then, unexpectedly, they launch him on the ride while he still thinks something is wrong. Naturally, he freaks out, then slowly realizes he’s been trolled. He comes back down to see the staff laughing at their prank.

The Faceless Kitten

his stray kitten was found in a garage malnourished, flea infested, and with horrible facial wounds. Instead of euthanizing the hurt kitty, the veterinarian decided to operate and try to save the cat. After some kitty reconstructive facial surgery, the cat was all back to normal and now is living a happy, fulfilling life.

Google+: Sharing but like real life

The buzz surrounding Google’s new social network, Google+, quickly died down after its initial excitement. The social network market just seems to be satisfied with Facebook and Twitter. But Google isn’t going down without a fight, and has started a new television marketing campaign for their social network, touting the circles function. Too bad Facebook quickly adjusted their network in a similar fashion to also be able to share only with specific people. Users just don’t seem to need another social network to connect to friends and waste time online.

When hit by hard economic times, Alfredo tried selling refuse, but ended up building an entire house from plastic bottles, and other disposable plastics. He even teaches others his interlocking secrets of how to reuse bottles to help fight homelessness.

This video of a Japanese candy set is from 2009, but has recently started to go viral. A candy connoisseur shows us how to eat a very special Japanese candy treat. First, he pours powder into a liquid that transforms into a slime. Then, he dips the slime into some kind of foam. The candy set is reminiscent of the Japanese sushi candy set that went viral in February.

My Train Experience

Where ever you go in the world, there are people who are just full of hate. We all have problems in the the world, but racist people seem to think all their problems are because of some scary minority. This British woman riding a public London tram screams profanities at no one in particular at first and rants how the minorities should go back where they came from. Thankfully, other riders rebuke her.

Beagle Freedom Project - Second Rescue - June 8, 2011

Lab-raised beagles that have never seen the light of day are rescued and brought outside for the first time, thanks to the efforts of Animal Rescue, Media & Education (ARME) and their Beagle Freedom Project. Happily, all the rescued beagles have since been placed in loving foster homes. Information on adopting one (or all!) can be found on ARME’s Beagle Freedom Project website.

1930s Futuristic Fashion Predictions

This vintage 1930′s video was posted online in 2009, but just went viral now after being featured on BoingBoing. The vintage black and white clip is of fashion predictions for the year 2000. Like so many ‘in the future’ predictions, they are all ridiculous, but they did correctly predict that skirts would go out in favor of pants.
