The Oatmeal Illustrates Why Piracy Is Such A Success

Since the days of Naptser, piracy has been an ongoing fight between the proverbial "good and evil." What better way to illustrate this moral and legal fight than The Oatmeal, who is the king of illustrations showing just how easy it is to illegally pirate media on the web and hard it is to actually get media you are willing to pay for.

A Magnificent Outer Space Snow Angel Made of Stars, Gas and Space Dust

This outer space snow angel is actually a bipolar star-forming region called Sharpless 2-106, captured by the Hubble telescope. Twin lobes of super-hot gas, glowing blue, stretch outward from the central star. This hot gas creates the wings of our angel. A ring of dust and gas orbiting the star acts like a belt, cinching the expanding nebula into an hourglass shape. Photo by NASA.
