It's a Mad Men Holiday
Uh oh, this may mean bad things. But I like it ;-) It’s a case of Life imitating art, that imitates life. Cultivator Advertising & Design out of Denver Colorado sent out the above Season Greetings, ala Mad Men. The men in slick suits with pocket squares, and the women in lovely dresses including what seems to be their very own Joan decked out in her red dress poses provocatively in the middle of everyone.

From generation to generation…. Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga are the new faces for M.A.C. Cosmetics 2010 Spring campaign. Gaga is less made up than usual (yes I know she has raccoon eyes, but trust, this is a clean slate). But I don’t know the last time I’ve seen Ms. Lauper with that much makeup. I like these two together. And cannot wait to see it up at my local Macy’s.

Angelina Jolie Doubts Obama
Wow, who knew someone had it in them in Hollywood. Angelina Jolie wrote an editorial piece for Newsweek, titled “Justice Delayed is Not Justice Denied,” regarding the ongoing tragedy in Darfur. Jolie complains that Obama’s administration “has not yet announced any serious moves” to bring corrupt Sudanese leaders to justice.

THIS?!?! This is the BEST that HBO could come up with for Sex and the City Movie 2? REALLY? I am one of the BIGGEST SATC fans, and I HATE the direction that it went in the last movie, and this one doesn’t look to be going much better.
