Protests over the death of George Floyd have culminated in some of the largest civil rights uprisings in history. And white, wealthy areas like Santa Monica are no longer exempt.
Inside a private forum, some volunteer moderators for the platform are furious at the company's stance.
People on the social platform say that moderators are deleting comments stating “Black Lives Matter” and stifling discussion about the nation’s protests.
"It needs to be stated that as a straight white man, and a public figure, the institutional consequences of my detainment are nothing in comparison to others within the movement," the actor said.
