Ranunculus

Ranunculus, meaning little frog, is the genus that encompasses buttercups. I'm not sure what species we're looking at here, but I've never been so jealous of turtles and frogs. I wonder if I can move wherever this is?

Urinal Dress

This is actually a lot classier than it sounds. The urinal dress is part of a collection called "Venus in Sequin" by The Rodnik Band. Each piece is inspired by a work of art, and in this case it's Marcel Duchamp's Fountain. Never mind that Duchamp was trying to pass off a urinal as art to begin with. It's too much to worry about. Tupac Cat

According to this video, when Tupac died in 1996, he was reincarnated as a cat. All this time he's been in the pound, but now he's back to "f*ck shit up," as I guess should be expected of Tupac Cat. The song is available for download here.

Woman Speaks Cat

Margaret Hughes runs the Holiday Hotel for Cats in Los Angeles, but unlike other pet hotel owners, Margaret conveniently speaks cat and can read cats' minds. Doesn't this sound like the perfect place to bring your pet?

Plan Of The City

This is not your typical film about New York architecture. In Plan of the City buildings transform into rocket ships and resettle on Mars. To tell this odd little story, the filmmakers combined animation, live action, illustration and photography, including images taken by the Mars Rovers. And the music? Well, I won't spoil everything. See for yourself.

Manhattan In Motion

Vimeo user Mindrelic took this stunning footage of Manhattan between March 12 and April 29, 2011. These views are all taken from or around hotels he stayed at, which makes me wonder about the budget for this project. But trust me when I say the final product is so worth it.

Robot Wappy Dog For Nintendo DS

Because kids love video games and dogs, Sega has dreamed up a product that synthesizes the two: a robot dog that can be controlled by the Nintendo DS. I'm sure Wappy Dog will turn out to be a very popular holiday present, but I bet it'll also rank high on the "toys with annoying voices" and "Nintendo products with bewildering names" lists. (Via)
