Three dogs publicly chowed down on what turned out to be, at six feet tall, a world record-breaking canine cake. The bulk of the cake went to the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, a charitable institution that rehomes unwanted pets.

Space Nazis, anyone? Iron Sky recounts an alternate post-WWII era, in which Nazi scientists use anti-gravity research to establish a secret base on the moon. Their plan is to build a fleet of spaceships and conquer the world in 2018. Filming wrapped up in February and the movie is due in early 2012.
