I bought the Twilight New Moon soundtrack (yep!), and for the most part really liked it. The Grizzly Bear/Beach house song is amazing. But… One must take into account what has happened to bands such as Death Cab for Cutie and the Shins in the past. And those bands were featured on soundtracks for more respectable things than the Twilight franchise. The argument is not, will Grizzly Bear fail to make any more money. They will probably make much more, which is great for them, really! But at what cost? That is the question. Will they be destroyed as artists and become money machines.
