A federal jury on Monday saw video placing Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, along the Boston Marathon route as bombs ripped through the crowd. Dzhokhar is on trial for 30 charges, including killing four people and injuring hundreds.

The video is a compilation of surveillance footage along the route.

The most harrowing moments – and perhaps the most useful for prosecutors – begin at around 3 minutes and 30 seconds, when Dzhokhar arrives outside the Forum restaurant on Boylston Street. A security camera there recorded the footage.

He stands there for several minutes, and at one point appears to place a phone call. When the first bomb seemingly detonates off-camera – the entire crowd suddenly looks left – Dzhokhar begins quickly walking away. Seconds later an explosion goes off right in front of the camera.

After the blast, Dzhokhar went to a local Whole Foods to purchase milk, prosecutors said, showing the jury video of the transaction.

As ABC News wrote:

While the overall carnage was obvious, he likely didn't know so soon after the blasts that three people had been killed, including an eight-year-old boy. That boy, Martin Richard, was still receiving ultimately unsuccessful CPR at the same time as the milk run, prosecutors said earlier.

Later the night of the bombing, Tsarnaev's Twitter account read, "Ain't no love in the heart of the city, stay safe people," and then later, "There are people that know the truth but stay silent & there are people that speak the truth but we don't hear them cuz they're the minority," according to FBI Special Agent Steve Kimball, who took the stand for the prosecution.
