Here's How Alan Gross Reacted The Moment He Crossed From Cuba To America

He looked out the window, held his hands up triumphantly, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Alan Gross spent five years in isolation in Cuba on espionage allegations and was part of the historic prisoner swap/release between the U.S. and Cuba on Wednesday, ushering in a reconciliation between the rival nations.

Gross was on the flight home with Arizona Gov. Jeff Flake, who took the above video as the plane crossed into U.S. airspace.

Three men convicted in the U.S. of being Cuban spies were returned to the nation, and met with President Raul Castro. Here's video:
