A driver with Rock Solid Industries captured this horrific footage of a heavy goods truck plowing through five vehicles at a major intersection in Durban, South Africa. The footage was captured by a camera on the dashboard.
South African media confirmed that at least 22 people were killed and as many as 32 injured in the crash.
Investigations revealed that the truck's brakes failed causing the driver to speed through the red light at a major intersection in Pinetown. The 23-year-old driver was arrested and charged with culpable homicide.
As many as 60 people have died in fatal road accidents over the past two weeks in South Africa.
