The victim, identified Wednesday afternoon as Amber Lynn Coplin, 30, was found dead in her apartment, the Port Orchard Independent reported.

The Kitsap County Sheriff's Department Wednesday afternoon identified the suspect as 33-year-old David Michael Kalac, who had been living with Coplin, the Associated Press reported. Deputies also revealed Wednesday that investigators found a picture with the words "she killed me first" written on it at the crime scene. In addition, Coplin's purse had been dumped out and someone wrote "dead" on her driver's license.

Several photos of a dead woman lying naked on a bed surfaced on 4chan before 3 p.m. The woman appeared to have red marks around her neck. A message along with the images read: "Turns out it's way harder to strangle someone to death than it looks on the movies."

When pressed by other 4chan users to verify the authenticity of the pictures, the anonymous user said: "Check the news for Port Orchard, Washington, in a few hours. Her son will be home from school soon. He'll find her, then call the cops. I just wanted to share the pics before they find me." The woman's body was discovered at 3:26 p.m. by her 13-year-old son, deputies said

The pictures were deleted from 4chan — the same site to post nude images of celebrities two months ago — but have now resurfaced on Reddit.

In court documents filed Wednesday, authorities said the photos posted on the internet match the crime scene, the Associated Press reported.

Detectives also believed that Kalac was responsible for placing the graphic images into public domain.

Around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, Portland police spotted Coplin's gold 2001 Ford Focus. After police tried to pull the car then chased it when it sped away. The officers called the chase off after six minutes, however, when the car began swerving into oncoming traffic.

The car was found abandoned around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Deputies have a warrant accusing Kalac of second-degree murder and said he may have a knife or machete and should be considered dangerous. Law enforcement agencies around the area were alerted of the hunt for him.
