Adrian Peterson took to Twitter Tuesday night to defend himself against claims of financial irregularities and his promiscuity hours before he is set to appear in court to fight charges of child abuse.
Peterson is expected to plead not guilty to charges of beating his 4-year-old son at his first court appearance at the Montgomery County Court House Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday night, Peterson took to Twitter to defend himself against a list of claims in a Minneapolis Star Tribune story that ran on Sunday.
According to the Star Tribune story, Peterson used his charity's credit card to pay for a hotel room party in 2011 that was investigated by police for rape accusations against the NFL player.

The 38-page police report details a night of drinking, arguing and sex that involved the running back, two relatives — including Peterson's brother, a minor — and four women, in various pairs. One of those present, Chris Brown, a Peterson relative who lives with him in Eden Prairie, told police that he paid for the room using a company credit card for Peterson's All Day, Inc.
The story also highlighted how Peterson had fathered at least six children out of wedlock. It reported on other financial discrepancies with his charity — Peterson's All Day Foundation — naming two organizations which did not receive donations from his charity as claimed.
