Protesters In Support Of Christopher Dorner At LAPD Headquarters

According to NBC Los Angeles, there were around two dozen protesters yesterday, although organizers had projected closer to 200.

Despite the turnout, the facebook page that planned the protest, I Support Christopher Dorner, has over 16,000 "likes" on Facebook. The group's about section says that "This is not a page about supporting the killing of innocent people. It's supporting fighting back against corrupt cops and bringing to light what they do." Although the public protest was small, "support" for Dorner is more mainstream than you might think.

Former cop Dorner, who is accused of killing four people, died of a gunshot wound to the head during a standoff with LAPD on Tuesday. Dorner's full manifesto accuses the Los Angeles Police of widespread corruption that led to his firing.
