A Siberian Husky Got Rescued After Getting Stuck In A Storm Drain

This pup's weekend plans just went down the drain.

A Siberian husky has been reunited with her family after San Diego county officials rescued her from a storm drain on Friday.

According to the San Diego County Communication’s office, Animal Service officials received a call that someone had spotted the pup, named Bella, with its head sticking out of the drain.

Animal Service officials blocked the end of the pipe in the drain, and were able to restrain the husky and walk it toward a metal grate.

A person the county deemed a "good Samaritan" was then able to lift the grate and free Bella.

Officials found the dog's family through its microchip, and Bella was returned home safely. Officials said it is not clear how Bella got into the drain.

Enjoy life outside the drain, Bella!
