Argentine President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner mocked a Chinese accent in a tweet while on an official visit to Beijing on Wednesday.

The tweet read, “More than 1000 came to the event ... Did they only come for the rice and oil?”
However, Kirchner misspelled "rice" and "oil" in a way that mimics a Chinese accent.
The tweet was soon retweeted almost 2,000 times.
Kirchner later pinned the tweet to the top of her timeline, and seemed unapologetic in a follow-up tweet.
Sorry. ¿Sabes qué? Es que es tanto el exceso del ridículo y el absurdo, que sólo se digiere con humor. Sino son muy, pero muy tóxicos.
“Sorry. You know, it's just everything is so excessive and absurd and ridiculous that the only way to deal with it is with humor. Otherwise they get really, really toxic,” she said.
Kirchner is in China on an official visit to bolster economic ties between the two countries.
Kirchner has been at the center of a crisis back home involving the death of prosecutor Alberto Nisman.
The prosecutor was found dead after accusing Kirchner and some of her top officials of helping shield Iran from prosecution in a terror attack.
Nisman had drafted an arrest warrant for Kirchner in the incident before he was found dead of a gunshot wound last month, the New York Times reported Tuesday.
