This Student Driver Did Not Pass Her Driving Test

Luckily, the only thing that was injured was possibly the student's ego.

A driver's education student in Washington state failed her test pretty hard last week when she drove her car into the front of the school.

No one was hurt in the incident at the driving school in Bellevue on Friday, police spokesman Seth Tyler told BuzzFeed News.

The student, who was a woman in her 20s, was pulling up to take her test when she crashed into the glass-plated front of the building, Tyler said.

Tyler said it appears the woman made the common new driver mistake of hitting the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal.

He added that the damage will take a few weeks to fix.

Tyler said the woman, shockingly, didn't pass her test. The department wrote on Twitter that the incident was a clear "#fail."

But there was good news. Tyler said the student will be welcomed back by the school if she wants to try again.

“Its definitely hurt her confidence, but they hope she continues her training," he said.

He added: "Its part of the learning experience."
