Heartwarming Images From The First Day Of Marriage Equality In Idaho

"By the power vested in me by the state of Idaho, I now pronounce you…”

Same-sex marriages commenced in Idaho Wednesday morning, with hundreds of couples eagerly waiting to say those two very important words: "I do."

Both inside and outside the Ada County courthouse, the images speak for themselves:

Amber and Rachel. Among first with same sex marriage license.

The second ceremony here today - another couple involved in the lawsuit. Sheila and Andrea - both very emotional.

Ty and Becky - waited overnight to be first in line (behind plaintiffs). Already emotional about the day.

And, like any good wedding celebration, there was cake.

Once again, organizers of the party provided lots of wedding cake for people as they exit. #idpol
