This Video Captures An Argument Between A Bus Conductor And A Student In Saudi Arabia About Her Veil

The video uploaded to YouTube earlier this week appears to have been filmed on a bus for students at Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman University — a women's college.

This video appears to show a university bus conductor in Saudi Arabia trying to kick a student off the bus for temporarily removing her veil. It was uploaded to YouTube on Monday.

The video is filmed from behind a seat so it doesn't show the people on the bus, but you can hear their argument, which is in Arabic.

The bus conductor tells the woman that taking off her veil is against the university's rules and tries to kick her off the bus. The student refuses to get off the bus and says that her family know she uncovers her face at times.

The woman had taken off her veil on a bus for students at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, a women's college in Riyadh, according to the conversation in the video.

One of the students who was on the bus later told a reporter that she always unveils her face while on the bus because its windows are tinted and no one from outside can look in, the Saudi Gazette reported, citing the pan-Arab Al Hayat newspaper.

The student who was singled out by the conductor was eventually kicked off the bus, according to the Saudi Gazette.
