Facebook Email

Now the youngs really have no reason to ever sign up for an email account. But it'll also bundle texts, IMs, emails, Facebook messages into one, nightmarish stream.

Mark Zuckerberg -- in an awkward announcement that included a long story about his girlfriend -- announced that Facebook will now allow you get a email address, plus track a bunch of other ways to communicate, like IM and text. Zuckerberg says it's "not email," but it is, and then some. Your vanity name on Facebook will become your email address, which sucks if you weren't able to get one for your name.
