Lululemon Posts "CEO Wanted" Ad On Homepage Of Its Website

High-end yoga-wear maker Lululemon is advertising for a new CEO. Apply online if you have Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey on speed dial.

Visitors to Lululemon's website today looking for $98 yoga pants and $64 tank tops will also see a huge "CEO WANTED" ad.

A few of the requirements?

— "You already have a plan to bring yoga and luon to Mars by 2018."

— "You have Chip Wilson, Bill Clinton, Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey on speed dial."

— "You are disciplined, focused and can hold headstand for at least 10 minutes."

You also wear "The Mansy," a onesie for men, for "the company-wide morning chant and kombucha ritual," according to the posting, which is clearly (er, hopefully) a joke.

The company, which announced earlier this week that CEO Christine Day will be stepping down once the company finds a successor, has been working to assuage customers and investors that it will continue to thrive under new leadership.

"I am not the culture of Lululemon, everyone is the culture of Lululemon," Day said at a conference yesterday. "I want to give you the assurance that morale is high and that we are connected. And the reality is I am coming back to work on Monday, and I am there until the next CEO is in place. So it is business as usual for us at Lululemon."

She mentioned that some stores have jokingly been putting "CEO Wanted" signs in store windows and that others offered free hugs with purchases when the news of her departure broke.

While the posting is pretty goofy, there IS an "apply online" button ready for clicking. So if you "communicate powerfully, often through Sanskrit" and "use your third eye to channel innovation," it might be worth a shot.
