There's a new trailer for the third season of HBO's Girls and viewers might be surprised to see J.Crew president and creative director Jenna Lyons in it.
Lyons' character appears to work with Hannah (Lena Dunham) in some capacity, appearing at about 1:16 in the trailer above, wearing her trademark square frames and threads out of a J.Crew catalog to make a snide remark about Hannah.
While it may seem like a random guest appearance, Lyons has previously said she's a fan of Dunham's hit series. "To unwind, I usually drink one too many cocktails," Lyons told Harper's Bazaar earlier this year. "I love looking at magazines. I get every possible one. I read everything from fashion magazines to New York. It's a problem — I have stacks all over the house. I go through my e-mails and read or catch up on episodes of Girls."
And this isn't the first foray to the small screen for J.Crew's top brass. Chief Executive Officer Mickey Drexler, a retail legend, had a small role in one episode of last season's Breaking Bad, after reportedly telling Sony Television executives he was a huge fan of the show.
