A Columbus, Ohio, man who prosecutors say knew he was HIV-positive, is accused of raping two young girls.

Keith Anthony Allen, 27, faces a total of 19 criminal counts, including raping two 12-year-old girls and "gross sexual imposition" of a 14-year-old girl since September, the Associated Press reported.

Franklin County Prosecutors also filed a second criminal case against Allen charging him with felonious assault, according to court records, accusing him of having sex with his girlfriend and not informing her he was infected with the virus that causes AIDS.

Allen was arrested on March 25 and is being held in Franklin County jail. He is expected to appear in court Monday.

Franklin County's Prosecuting Attorney, Ron O'Brien told WBNS-TV he was not aware whether the alleged victims had been infected with HIV.

"It's about as disturbing a conduct as you can see," O'Brien told the news station. "This has to rank with the most disturbing I've seen."

Allen could face up to a life sentence if convicted.
