The FBI arrested Hunter Moore and Charles Evens Thursday morning, charging the two with conspiracy, seven counts of unauthorized access to a protected computer, and seven counts of aggravated identity theft.
According to the 15-count indictment, while Hunter Moore was running the "revenge porn" site isanyoneup.com, he would have Evens hack into victims' email accounts, and then pay Evens for the nude photographs he retrieved. It's alleged that Moore and Evens hacked into hundreds of victims' email accounts.
If convicted, Moore and Evens face up to five years in federal prison. They both are expected to make court appearances Thursday afternoon.
