On Monday, an obscene photo was posted to Instagram captioned "It's milk guys I promise." The photo then ended up on the subreddit r/trashy. By Monday morning, the post became so popular it reached the front page of Reddit.
The photo depicted a lewd act being performed by and witnessed by what appear to be teenagers. The Reddit post was deleted and removed from the site after moderators realized the photo may depict child pornography.
Twitter users began posting about it, however, identifying the girl in the selfie as a female student from Grandville High School in Grandville, Michigan.

As the photo is believed to have been taken in nearby Wyoming, Michigan, both the Grandville and Wyoming police are investigating.

If the photos are child pornography, the person who produced them, the four teenagers in the photos, and anyone who possesses or shares the photos could face criminal charges.
The best milk comes from Grandville.
“Nobody should be sharing them,” Wyoming Police Capain Kim Koster told MLive.

Koster called it an example of the worst-case scenario: “Once a photograph is texted to someone or posted, your control over that photo is relinquished and really it’s out there for anybody."
The Twitter user who was identified by Grandville High School students as the girl who took the photo has tweeted dozens of references to the incident.
She's spent the last few days tweeting about how she doesn't regret taking the photo.
And bragging about how viral the photo has gone and how many followers she's gained from it. The Instagram account the photo was posted to is now private.
