19-Year-Old College Student Shot And Killed Herself After Classmates Learned She Starred In Porn

Alyssa Funke killed herself with a shotgun weeks after a video she made for CastingCouch-X was discovered by classmates.

Alyssa Funke, a 19-year-old at the University of Wisconsin's River Falls campus, was majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry.

In March, she appeared in a video from porn producers CastingCouch-X under the name Stella Ann.

In the video, Funke tells the cameraman that she wants to be an anesthesiologist when she graduates.

When the video was released in April, it was quickly discovered by classmates both at her old high school and at the University of Wisconsin.

Funke started getting harassed on social media. She began responding to some of the more troubling messages on Facebook and Twitter.

Her last tweet was on April 14th.

On the same day she posted that message, according to local law enforcement, Funke bought a 12-gauge shotgun, drove to nearby Big Canelia Lake, and killed herself.

Funke's family wouldn't appear on camera, but told local reporters that she struggled with depression and believed that the harassment she received over the video made things worse.

The Washington County Sheriff's Department is currently finishing up its investigation. "Stella Ann's" scene is still on CastingCouch-X's website.

A friend of Funke's tried to set up "The Alyssa Stop Bullying Fund" on a crowdsourcing site, but was only able to raise $165.
