LOWELL, Mass. — Senator Scott Brown told Elizabeth Warren that "I'm not a student in your classroom" during an often-testy debate on Monday at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell.

Warren and Brown were at one point talking at the same time, to which Brown cut in: "Excuse me," he said. "I'm not a student in your classroom."

Moderator David Gregory had earlier asked Brown about his habit of referring to Warren as "Professor." He said that he didn't mean to needle her: "She earned the title," he said.
