Phyllis Schlafly Concedes: Not All Feminists Are Ugly

But tells cadets at the Citadel not to date any.

In a course at The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. called the Conservative Intellectual Tradition in America, the veteran conservative culture warrior Phyllis Schlafly gave the young men advice on dating yesterday.

Per the Post and Courier:

She told the all-male group that “feminist is a bad word and everything they stand for is bad.”

And she warned them about having personal relationships with feminists. “Find out if your girlfriend is a feminist before you get too far into it,” she said. “Some of them are pretty. They don’t all look like Bella Abzug.”

It almost sounds like praise coming from Schlafly, who has called feminism "the most dangerous, destructive force in our society today."
