CAMP HILL, Penn. — Organizers of the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference, attended by presidential candidates Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich today, say they're looking into anti-Semitic lyrics that some guests heard a band play at the conference's dinner last night.

The website Politics PA tweeted that the band, a Tea Party outfit called The Angry Mob Band specializing in political humor, sang "We’re fighting the corruption of the Jewish banks but when the Jews come to feed us, we always say thanks.” The song was intended to mock the Occupy movement.

Lowman Henry, the president of the Pennsylvania Leadership Council, which puts on the conference, said that he wasn't aware of the specific lyrics, but that "if that's the case, that would be the end of [the band] being here."

"But I don't know if that's the case because I didn't hear it," Henry said.

David Taylor, another organizer, said that "That did not happen." He added that if it had, PLC wouldn't tolerate it.

Attendees like Bob Kilbanks said that the band's intent was to mock Occupy for holding those views about the big banks, not to espouse those views themselves.
