Mentions of Slut, Mom, and Dog on Twitter
The chart above tracks the progress of three political buzzwords on Twitter since the end of February, when Rush Limbaugh called Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke a "slut." "Slut" never really took off, but "mom" did right around the time of the Hilary Rosen controversy. Off the heels of the Obama dog-eating revelation, "Dog" continues to skyrocket.
