CeeLo Green has been dropped from more concerts following his recent comments about rape on Twitter.
Last week, the former host of The Voice was also dropped from a music festival in Washington, D.C.
Both the Louisiana Festival and the Gretna Heritage Festival have replaced the "Fuck You" singer.
"CeeLo Green has been removed from the #GretnaFest line-up, as he does not represent the festival's wholesome family environment," the Gretna Heritage Festival committee announced on Facebook.
They added that Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will take his place in the lineup.
Freedom LIVE also released a statement:
Unfortunately, one of the performers we signed for the JBAB Freedom Live show on 20 September recently posted comments on social media that we consider to completely inconsistent with Navy core values. Regardless of intent or context, the lack of sensitivity towards an issue that is one of the great challenges facing our Navy is unacceptable. As a result, we have made the decision to pull CeeLo Green from the Freedom Live event on 20 September.
The cancelations come after Green made some bizarre comments on Twitter about what does and doesn't define rape, days after pleading no contest to slipping a woman ecstasy without her consent in 2012.
Though it was also alleged that he raped the woman, no formal charges were filed due to insufficient evidence.
Though he apologized on Twitter, a chain reaction of cancelations began, starting with his TBS reality show, The Good Life, and continuing with the Freedom LIVE concert last week.
I truly and deeply apologize for the comments attributed to me on Twitter. Those comments were idiotic, untrue and not what I believe.
