Obama: We Said "You Can Keep It If It Hasn't Changed Since The Law Passed"

The president's health insurance promise seemed to take on a new caveat Monday after reports that millions are now losing their coverage.

During an OFA summit, President Obama addressed claims that his health care reform is forcing people off their original plans.

“Now, if you had one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law and you really liked that plan, what we said was you can keep it if -- it hasn’t changed since the law passed,” the president said.

Obama repeatedly assured Americans while campaigning for the law, "If you like your health care plan, you can keep it." An estimated 3.5 million people have now had their plans canceled under Obamacare.
